Pet public liability insurance for dogs

Up to £5m cover for taking your pet dog to work.

What is pet public liability insurance?

Taking your dog to work can be fun, but it also means there’s a higher chance of your dog causing an accident or injury. Public liability for dogs can protect you if your dog ends up hurting someone or damaging property at work – something that your regular pet insurance usually doesn’t cover.

What does public liability insurance cover?

Public liability for pet dogs protects you against legal fees and compensation should your dog injure a colleague, member of the public, or damage belongings while at work.

Choose between £1m and £5m of public liability cover when you take out a policy. A £100 excess is payable towards any third-party property damage claims.

How much does public liability insurance cost?

The price of pet public liability insurance can vary based on factors like cover level and your work location. As a guide, policies with £1m of public liability cover start from £99.
